Clinical Coordinator.
Description
Unless
you are a physician, much
of emergency provider training is based on models, illustrations, and
"blind
faith" about the anatomic relationships necessary to perform procedures
and envision mechanisms of injury in trauma victims. The
primary
purpose of this course is to solidify these concepts into more tangible
associations. This course is not an introduction to
anatomy
and
physiology.
Experts will conduct an intensive half-day study of human clinical anatomy that includes:
Prerequisites
In
order to maximize the
educational
value of this program, students should attend having a basic knowledge
of human anatomy and physiology. Some preparation by review of this
material
is strongly encouraged.
