American Heart Association Heartsaver Course (CPR)

Credit
No formal credit is awarded.  Students who complete the course will be awarded a two-year certification card from the American Heart Association.

Description
This one-evening course is designed to meet the needs of lay rescuers whose job activities include responding to workplace emergencies.  Suggested participants include security officers, day care staff, teachers, workplace safety teams.  A two-year certification card is issued to students who complete the course.  Two versions of the course are available:

Topics include: Students should dress for practice on training manikins.  Some of this practice may be on the floor.

Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites.  Students are expected to practice the various rescue techniques on a training manikin.

Date(s) & Time(s)
We offer Heartsaver First Aid with Adult CPR and AED, which is very similar, routinely.  We are offering this course by request to groups to meet your needs or the requirements of regulated OSHA training for your company. Please fill in the course request form to help us evaluate your training needs.

Fee(s)
The fee for this program is $40.00 and includes tuition, the course textbook and parking.
