The NJ Department of Health & Senior Services - OEMS has approved this program for 16.0 elective CEUs for NJ EMTs.  NJ paramedics should contact their clinical coordinator for CEU approval.

Description
This course was developed by the The Incident Support and Operational Planning Unit (ISOP), an area of responsibility within the UMDNJ Center for BioDefense.

This session will provide the participant the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities and other tools to effectively and efficiently operate in a leadership role at Large Scale Incidents. The expectation is that upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to successfully function within the EMS Branch of the Incident Command System as leaders of Triage, Treatment, Transport or staging operations.

Prerequisites
This course is appropriate for all levels of EMS responders who have taken EMS Response to the Large Scale Incident (LSI)-Awareness.
