NECI Instructor for EMD, 911, and Fire Communications

Description

This offering is being provided by NECI 9-1-1 Solutions and is officially recognized by the New Jersey Office of Emergency Telecommunications Services (OETS).  Topics to be covered in the course include: understanding the adult learner, instructor techniques, teaching from a lesson plan outline, using PowerPoint for effective presentations, and other relevant topics.  Regardless of which one, or more, you register for, all three courses will occur simultaneously because of the strong commonality among them.  Please see the following links for component specifics:
Once you complete this train-the-trainer course, you will be certified to certify others in your department in corresponding basic certification courses as well as any other NECI Continuing Education course.  Any remaining questions about course content and format can be answered by calling 404-601-2891 or e-mailing ChrisWood@NECI911.com.

Prerequisites

You must hold a valid NECI, APCO, or NAED certification for the course for which you are registering to be an NECI instructor.  For example, if you are trying to be a 911 instructor, you must hold a valid  911/Basic Telecommunicator certificate.  If you are trying to become an EMD instructor, you must have a valid  EMD certificate.  To clarify any other certificate contact Chris Wood at 404-601-2891 or email ChrisWood@NECI911.com and see if it will be accepted by NECI.

Each course requires individual registration through NECI and tuition for certification purposes.  Government P.O. and credit cards are accepted.
