Neonatal Resuscitation Program

A letter of attendance will be provided upon request for nurses, physicians and other allied health practitioners.  NJ Paramedics receive credit through review by their MICU Clinical Coordinators.  No application has been made for EMT CEU credit.

Description
The neonatal resuscitation course was the result of the combined efforts of the Working Group on Pediatric Resuscitation and the National Task Force on Neonatal Resuscitation of the Section on Perinatal Pediatrics of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Its goal is to provide the materials and training necessary to healthcare professionals in neonatal resuscitation according to American Heart Association -- American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.

Prerequisites
Health professionals with a working knowledge of the basics of labor & delivery is required.  Also, familiarity with infant CPR is strongly recommended.  Students must complete the course manual (Neonatal Resuscitation Textbook, 5th Edition, ISBN 978-1-58110-187-4) prior to the start of class.

$95.00 includes light refreshments, textbook, and the course completion card.   Lunch is on your own.
