The NJ Department of Health and Senior Services--Office of EMS (OEMS) must pre-approve all programs that will award continuing education units (CEUs) to NJ EMTs.  The National Registry of EMTs accepts NJ EMT CEUs on a one-for-one basis.  OEMS has started posting a list of approved public CEU offerings at its web site.

A few special elective programs have standing approval from OEMS.  One such example is CPR renewal and we have created a form so that NJ EMTs can easily be guided through the process of obtaining the CEU credit.
