Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Provider Course

Credit

14.42 contact hours are offered to participants who successfully complete the entire program.  The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Description

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital EMS & Trauma Education and Department of Trauma and Injury Prevention jointly host offerings of this Emergency Nurses Association course.  It introduces and stresses the fundamentals of an organized, prioritized approach to the care of trauma patients.  More specific information is available from the national Emergency Nurses Association TNCC web site.

Prerequisites

The program is intended for nurses, physicians assistants, paramedics and other non-physician emergency care professionals.
